The fitting that
holds the rig.
A coupler is the fitting that connects gear to a tube. A half coupler clamps a single tube for a fixed point - lights, speakers, pipe-and-drape. A swivel joins two tubes at any angle. Self-lock and quick couplers are fast grip-under-load fixings. All of them fit 48 to 51mm scaffold, truss and fly-bar tube, and all are supplied load-rated and stamped with a working load limit.
TSA stocks the range in black and silver, built to a stated safety factor and consistent with the AS 4991 approach to rigging hardware. It is one part of the full Lifting & Rigging range.

Four coupler families on one tube standard. Each is the right answer to a different job - here is how they differ, and how to spec the one your rig needs.
Every coupler fits 48-51mm tube and is supplied load-rated and stamped with a working load limit. Half 100 to 750 kg, swivel 100 to 500 kg, self-lock and quick 250 kg. Built to a stated safety factor, consistent with the AS 4991 approach to rigging hardware.
One jaw. One fixed connection.
A single forged jaw that clamps to one 48-51mm tube and gives you a fixed-point fixing for lights, speakers and pipe-and-drape. Stocked at 100, 500 and 750 kg working load - M10 bolt to 500 kg, M12 at 750 kg. Black or silver, load-rated and stamped.
Two tubes, any angle.
Two jaws on a central pin that join two tubes and rotate a full 360 degrees - for bracing, cross beams and non-standard structures. Stocked at 100 and 200 kg on a 30mm pin and 500 kg on a 50mm pin. Black or silver, load-rated and stamped.
Hooks on. Grips under load.
Hooks onto the bar and grips automatically as soon as the load applies; you set final tension with the T-handle. Supplied with bolt, ring and butterfly nut, rated to 250 kg working load. The fast, secure pick for quick installs and de-rigs.
Hook, tighten, go.
The time-saver for hanging fixtures without threading a bolt every time - hook it on, tighten, and move on. Rated to 250 kg working load on a 30mm width with an M10 bolt. Black or silver, load-rated and stamped.
