Exhibitions & Interactives - TSA's in-house service for large sculptural objects, hands-on interactives and immersive brand activations, designed, engineered, fabricated and installed in steel, carved polystyrene, scenic finish and joinery. TSA's in-house exhibitions and interactives service - large sculptural objects, hands-on interactives and immersive brand activations in steel, carved polystyrene, scenic finish and joinery. Engineered to survive crowds, weather and a tight install window, then re-deployed across venues.
Four services.
One workshop.
This is a creative workshop, not a commodity fabricator. An activation draws large sculptural objects, hands-on interactives, immersive environments and a hybrid off-the-shelf and bespoke build together under one roof, so the idea, the engineering and the finish are coordinated rather than handed between shops. Here is what goes into an activation.
Large sculptural objects
Hero pieces in steel and carved polystyrene with scenic finish - the big object a crowd walks up to and photographs, engineered to hold its shape on day three.

Touch, turn and play features built for constant handling - from the Cadbury Joyville chocolate machine to mechanisms that take a crowd all day, every day.

Environments, marquees and temporary retail that put a brand on its feet - interpreted from a brief, engineered for crowds and weather, finished to read on message.

Delivered and installed on a tight window, then re-deployed venue to venue where the activation tours - the same build, re-installed clean each time.
See the buildWe interpret the brief, engineer it to endure, fabricate it and install it on site - then re-deploy it where it tours. It is the same workshop, trades and materials that build for the stage - see Sets, Scenery & Props. Not sure where your brief sits? and we will scope it with you.
An activation,
built to endure.
Exhibitions & Interactives is TSA's in-house service for large sculptural objects, hands-on interactives and immersive brand activations - built in steel, carved polystyrene, scenic finish and joinery by carpenters, sculptors, welders and finishers under one roof. We interpret the brief, engineer it to last the event, fabricate it and install it on site, then re-deploy it where it tours.
This is the same workshop that builds for the stage - a creative shop set up for high-scope, bespoke work, not commodity runs. The build has to work on day three, not just day one: activations are engineered to survive crowds, weather and constant handling, with off-the-shelf integrated where it makes sense and bespoke where it counts. Exhibition and interactive fabrication also carries the Show Works name, now a TSA-owned brand, and those builds are set out on the Show Works site. Part of the Sets, Scenery & Props group.
Four jobs, one activation.
An activation built to
last the whole event.
An activation is a coordinated build, not a stack of parts. You get the idea interpreted, engineered to endure, fabricated in steel, carved polystyrene, scenic finish and joinery, then delivered and installed on a tight window - with off-the-shelf integrated where it makes sense and bespoke where it counts.
Built to work on day three, not just day one.
A one-off activation is engineered for its venue and its crowd: weather, footfall and constant handling, finished to read on message and built to last the whole event - not just the launch.
We interpret, engineer, fabricate and install the activation - then re-deploy it where it tours. It is the same workshop, trades and materials that build for the stage through Sets, Scenery & Props. An activation only crosses into motorised movement or show control on the rare build that needs it - otherwise it stays a fabrication and install job, end to end. Either way, you deal with one team.
Activations that
hold the crowd.
From working interactives to outdoor activations and multi-venue tours, the workshop takes a concept to crowd, on time, and engineers it to last the whole event.

to build?
Tell us the brand, the venue and the crowd, the materials it calls for and your install dates. A TSA project lead will scope the activation with you and the workshop will engineer, build and install it - then re-deploy it where it tours, Australia wide.
