Measured, made,
installed, supported.
Measured
We start with the room. The sprung floor is measured to your studio and cut to fit at installation, and vinyl, barres and mirrors are sized to the space, so the surface fits wall to wall and the equipment suits the dancers using it.
Made
Sprung floors, ballet barres, studio mirrors and the portable tap floor are manufactured in our own workshop. Made in Australia, and built for daily timetables - a floor that holds its spring and a barre that stays true through class after class.
Installed
Floors, vinyl and sports flooring are laid by our crews. Portable mirrors are supplied Australia wide; wall-mounted mirrors are installed to AS 1288 by our glazier in Melbourne. Floors and barres are made to go down without a tradesman if you'd rather fit them yourself.
Supported
Tarkett's 10-year warranty on Tarkett-surfaced floors and dance vinyl, and a team that knows the kit because we made it. When a surface reaches the end of its life, we resurface over the existing sub-structure rather than rebuilding the floor - quoted separately, since normal wear sits outside the warranty.
A floor takes years of class. Tarkett-surfaced floors and dance vinyl carry Tarkett's 10-year warranty, backed by a team that knows the kit because we made it. Replacement vinyl and top surfaces are stocked for the day a surface wears through, quoted at the time, since normal wear sits outside the warranty.

What do Own-brand / Supplied & laid mean?
The two chips, defined once: Own-brand ranges - sprung floors, ballet barres, studio mirrors and the portable tap floor - are engineered and manufactured in our own workshop. Supplied & laid ranges - dance and performance vinyl and Multiflex M sports flooring - are distributed and installed by us as the Australian distributor of choice.

Four finishes,
one sprung base.
Every sprung floor is the same structure underneath: plywood panels on an EPDM rubber shock-pad matrix, independently tested for force reduction and fire rated. What changes is the top. Pick the finish for the way the floor gets used.
The base
The sprung floor itself, with a paint, seal or DIY top. Force reduction, relocatable, goes down without a tradesman.

Already working in your world.
Whether it's a studio, a conservatoire, a school hall or a multi-sport complex, the floor and the fit-out change with the room. Find the approach built for your space.
The floors the companies dance on.
Our sprung floor system was engineered in-house, it is laid in The Australian Ballet's rehearsal studios, and our floors, barres and mirrors are specified by ballet schools, conservatoires and studios around the country - the Australian Conservatoire of Ballet, the Melbourne Conservatoire of Ballet and Geelong Arts Centre among them. When the people teaching the next generation choose the surface, it tells you the floor holds up.

Every floor is measured to your studio and installed to fit. Panels are manufactured to a standard size and the floor is cut to fit your room at installation, so the surface fits wall to wall, and barres and mirrors are sized to suit the space and the dancers using it.
A sprung floor is the structural base: plywood panels on an EPDM rubber shock-pad matrix that returns energy and protects feet, ankles, shins, knees and hips. Performance vinyl is the top surface that goes over a sprung or solid base to give dancers the right grip and slip. Many studios run performance vinyl on top of a sprung floor for the full package.
