Touring Packages - equipment hire scoped to a whole tour: the drapes, hoists, rigging and control kit a production carries, prepped and certified once as one package, delivered to the first venue, supported for the life of the run and collected from the last, Australia wide
One package. Every venue. Show-ready.
A touring package is hire scoped to the whole tour, not a single venue - the drapes, hoists, rigging and control kit your production carries, prepped and certified once, then supported for the life of the run. Tell us the schedule and the technical rider, and the package is built around how the show moves.
Three ways in.
Every touring package is scoped per production - there is no fixed menu, and that is deliberate. Start from whichever of these you have in hand today, and the engagement is built around how the show actually moves.
Start from the tour schedule
Cities and dates first. The package and its freight plan are built around how the show moves, leg by leg.

Send the rider and we translate it into one prepped, certified kit - drapes, hoists, rigging and control.

Already on the road and short of kit or support? National coverage picks the tour up where it is.
On-the-road serviceKit, freight, support and crew are confirmed per production, and assistance is available on request at every leg. Request availability for these dates and we will come back inside the working day. The scenic side of touring - keeping the set itself repaired on the road - lives with Touring Support. Not sure what the tour needs? Plan your hire and send us the brief.
Certified once.
Supported city to city.
A touring package is TSA hire scoped to the whole tour rather than a single venue. The drapes, hoists, rigging hardware, control kit and road cases a production carries are picked from the same national fleet we sell and service, prepped and certificated once as one kit, and packed to re-rig the same way in every city. No two shows carry the same package, so every package is scoped per production - from the schedule and the technical rider, not from a fixed list.
Most packages take one of two shapes. A rigging package carries chain hoists, controllers, truss, and the cabling, shackles, slings and wires that go with them. An automation package adds the console and control racks, drive racks, winches and motors, with cabling, post-install support, and crew to install, integrate, operate and pack down. Quantities are set by the show, so the two are starting points, not a menu.
On maintained engagements the kit does more than ship: it stays looked after. That is the maintained-lease model - kit stays serviced, tagged and show-ready city to city, with preventive maintenance through the run. It is proven at the most demanding end of the market: a major international touring musical toured internationally on TSA-maintained kit, a complete rigging and automation package delivered to the first venue, collected from the last, and backed by a 24-hour turnaround on essential faults with around-the-clock contact for the life of the run.
This page is the kit half of touring. On-the-road repair and maintenance of the scenic build sits with Touring Support, and whole-of-tour technical direction with Production Management. If you run tours for a living, the Touring Productions page shows how TSA's touring disciplines line up behind a run.
One kit, three legs, no re-hires. The package is certificated once, re-rigged the same way at every venue and serviced between cities - so the crew builds the same show on night one and night one hundred.
Four jobs, one kit.
Five steps.
One engagement.
Touring packages run on the same hire spine as everything else we ship - checked out, shipped, supported and checked back in. The difference is scale: the package is prepped once, as one kit, and the support holds for the life of the run.
Hire that runs on the show's calendar, not ours.
Bump-in, run, bump-out - the package is built around the schedule and supported between the dates. Send the window and we check the fleet.
This is the kit half of a tour. The scenic build is repaired and maintained on the road by Touring Support, whole-of-tour technical direction sits with Production Management, and single-venue hires start at Drape Hire or Hoist & Rigging Hire.
